Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Dzulkifli Abdul Razak
Dzulkifli Abdul Razak (or for short, Dzul) is the current Rector of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) effective Aug 1st, 2018. Prior to this, he was the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia board of directors chairman and the 5th Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He has been elected president of the International Association of Universities (IAU) for the Administrative Board of 2012 to 2016.

Professor Anthony Pym
Anthony David Pym (born 1956 in Perth, Australia) is a scholar best known for his work in translation studies.. Pym is currently Distinguished Professor of Translation and Intercultural Studies at Rovira i Virgili University in Spain and Professor Extraordinary at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. He was a fellow of the Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies from 2010 to 2015, Visiting Researcher at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey from 2008 to 2016, Walter Benjamin Visiting Professor at the University of Vienna in 2015, and President of the European Society for Translation Studies from 2010 to 2016.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Akmal Khuzairy Abdul Rahman
Akmal Khuzairy is an Associate Professor teaching Translation theories and practices with the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, International Islamic University Malaysia. He is an academic advisor to a couple of local colleges and an assessor to the Arabic and linguistic Translation program under the Malaysian Quality Agency. His research interest in the issues of religious text translation and its impacts on society and civilization.
Prof. Dr. Majdi Haji Ibrahim
Prof. Dr. Majdi Haji Ibrahim is a professor in Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies at the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He received his bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and Literature from IIUM in 1995 and upon graduating, he forthwith joined the Department of Arabic Language,University of Leeds to begin his work-study life. In 1997, he was awarded a Master’s degree of Arts (English-Arabic-English Translation) from the University of Leeds in Britain, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Arabic Studies and Islamic Civilization from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2003. He is currently serving as the Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research at KIRKHS and Editor in Chief of At-Tajdid Journal. Prior to that, he was the Deputy Dean at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Islamic Civilization (2013-2014), Head of Department of Arabic Language and Literature (2009-2013), Chief of Language and Literature Studies Journals (2009). He was appointed as an Education Expert with the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in Morocco from 2014-2015. He had also published more than forty academic articles in Malaysia and the Arab World, participated in many academic conferences inside and outside of Malaysia and supervised a number of theses from IIUM and other universities.
